Barbara French Brown Allston, of Naperville, IL died peacefully at her Naperville home on Sunday, April 3, 2011.
She was born July 3, 1930 in New York, N.Y., the daughter of Norman Pierson Brown and Loraine French.
Barbara is survived by her husband Frank Allston, her sons James (Judy) of Palm Harbor, FL, and John (Cindy) Allston of Carol Stream, IL. Her grandchildren Perry, Christine, Nathan and Justin Allston.
Mrs. Allston was a graduate of University of North Carolina with a degree in History. Mrs. Allston had been very active in the Naperville community involved in the Heritage Society, and the North Central College Performing Arts Committee.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home & Crematory, 516 S. Washington St. Naperville, IL 60540. Funeral Service Wednesday at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Ln, Naperville, IL at 10:00 AM. with additional visitation at the church from 9:15 to time of service.
Interment private.
