Jean E. Fawver
Jean Elizabeth Fawver, 90, Corydon, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Beard's Assisted Care near Laconia.
Born March 13, 1923, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Jesse Wheat Stevens.
She was a life member of Corydon Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in New Albany.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Albert Fawver, and a sister, Mary Alice Hess.
Survivors include two sons, Charles A. Fawver Jr. of Corydon and Dale L. Fawver Sr. of Pinetown, N.C.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, May 12, from 2 to 7 p.m. and Monday, May 13, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, May 13, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Randy Coleman.
Pallbearers: Todd, Jeff, Dale Jr. and Gregory Fawver, Brandon Russ and Paul Younger.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Corydon Presbyterian Church.
