W. E. Shaddox Succumbs Here

William E. Shaddox died early Saturday in the Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was 64 years old.

Born in LaRue, Ark., he came to Wyoming in 1911, and was a cowboy and rancher. He first lived in Laramie, and later moved to Gillette.

He served in the First World War.

He and his wife, the former Daisy Bryan, whom he married in 1923, moved to Casper shortly after their wedding. The family home is at 106 Riverview in Mills.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Shaddox is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Rod Goddart of Rogers, Ark.; Mrs. Esta Smith of Lomita, Calif.; and Mrs. Lester Shirley of Neosho, Mo.; and three brothers, Lonny of Casper; Ples of La Grand, Ore.; and Arthur of Kansas City, Mo.

Services will take place at the Bustard Funeral Home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. C. T. Hawes of the First Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Veterans Plot. Highland Cemetery with military honors given by the VFW Post of Powder River.
