Long, he died 12 Feb 1894 in New Orleans, LA, they married 20 Oct 1864 in Red River Co., TX, her age was 73, born in Red River County, lived 53 years in Paris, he served in the 11th Texas Cavalry, under Capt. Burk, and Col. Young. J. M. Long and Mrs. G. P. Wolfe Lamar Co., 7 Jun 1916 deposed they knew her. S. H. Neathery and W. H. Jennings, Lamar Co., 6 Dec 1916, deposed they knew him in the army but did not state they served in the same unit. War Dept. reply, 12 Dec 1916, Pvt., Co. E, 11th Texas Cavalry, enlisted 2 Oct 1861 and on roll Oct to Feb 1864 is present. John C. Burk was Captain of the Company
