Lawrence J. Tarbell, 57, of Bombay died Sunday, October 12, in Cornwall General Hospital following an apparent heart attack. Funeral services were held yesterday at 10 a.m. in St. Regis Catholic Church with burial in the parish cemetery. Born in Hogansburg, June 18,1918, he was a son of Joseph and Mary Tarbell. He was a crane operator at Alcoa, Massena, retiring in 1974. On October 15 1943 in St. Regis Church, he was married to the former Charlotte David who survives. He was a member of St. John Baptist Society of St. Regis Church and the 25 Year-Club at Alcoa, Massena. Surviving besides his wife are four sons, Lawrence, Robert and Mitchell, all of Bombay and David of Fort Covington; four daughters, Mrs. Ward (Catherine) Cook, Mrs. Ronald (Millie) Cook and Mrs. Randy (Florence) Cook all of Rochester and Mrs. William (Rose) Oakes of the Snye; 14
grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Peter (Ruth) Herne of Hogansburg. He was predeceased by a brother, Louie and three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Jacobs, Mrs. Elizabeth Ransom and Mrs. Harriett Cook
