Frank Jackl, 84, a retired town of Centerville farmer, died suddenly early today
after a lingering illness.
Born in Germany in 1868, a son of Frank and Anna Jackl, he came to the United
States in his childhood, settling on a farm near Hika.
He was engaged in farming almost his entire life.
Only immediate survivor is a sister, Mrs. Peter Scharenbrock, Cleveland.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Stoltenberg Funeral
chapel, Cleveland, and at 9 a.m. at St. George's Catholic Church at Hika.
The Rev. Richard Keller, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish
cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the funeral chapel after 7 p.m. Friday. Members of
St. George's parish will recite the rosary at the chapel at 8 o'clock Friday
evening.
