Mrs. Lena Pfalz, 90, died Tuesday afternoon at the St. Mary Home for the Aged, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness. She had been living at the home for the past nine years.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in the chapel at the St. Mary home, the Rev. Casimir Stec, OFM, officiating. Burial will be in Centerville cemetery.
Mrs. Pfalz was born in Austria in 1861 and in 1907 came to America. She came to Wisconsin in 1914, and had lived in Hika 20 years before coming to the St. Mary home. She was married to Frank Pfalz in 1885, and he died in 1928.
Survivors are a son, Frank of Rubicon, Wis.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. One son and three daughters preceded their mother in death.
The body will be taken from the Pfeffer funeral home to the St. Mary home, to lie in state after 4 p.m. Thursday.
