Excerpt from obituary, Villisca Review 14 Aug. 1931:
Mrs Hal Hausen, 57, died at 6:45 pm Friday at her home, on Fourth Ave following an illness which became critical a week before her death, when she fell at home fracturing her right hip. She had been a resident of this community most of her life...

...Martha Ann Warne was born Oct 11, 1873 in Villisca, a daughter of Stephen and Martha Warne. She grew to womanhood in this community and was married Nov 17, 1890 to Hal Hausen. To them six children were born, four daughters and two sons, who are Pearl, Margaret, Harry, Clarence, and Mrs Yale Wright, all of Villisca; and Mrs Walter R Glenn, Oklahoma City. Her husband and all six children survive her.

In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by nine grandchildren; two brothers, Charles R and Clarence S Warne, of Villisca; and one sister, Mrs Ivan R Mills, Oakland IA.

Mrs Hausen was a member of the Presbyterian church of this city...
