CLEVELAND Mrs. Ad. Stoltenberg died on Saturday morning from a stroke of apoplexy. She had suffered ill health for more than a year, yet her condition was not considered serious, therefore her sudden death came as a shock to her family.
Mr. and Mrs. Stoltenberg conducted the only general merchandise store here for more than 35 years, and Mrs. Stoltenberg was ever a familiar figure about the store, helping to wait on the very large trade that they enjoyed. Her genial face will be missed by their many customers and friends. Mrs. Stoltenberg was 52 years of age.
She leaves besides her sorrowing husband, one son, Reuben in the partnership, a daughter, Mrs. Alma Koehn of Green Bay and Miss Clara at home; also 3 grandchildren. One son Walter preceded his mother in death 2 years ago.
The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 oclock from the home to the Lutheran cemetery at Centerville, Rev. Sprengling officiating. A large number of relatives came from afar to attend the funeral.
