Mrs. Anna Powers Anderson of 306 Tuckahoe Blvd, died Wednesday, May 23 in St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Elkmont, Al, she was a Richmond resident since 1946. She received her BA degree from Athens College and a BS degree from Auburn University. She was a member of the Tuckahoe Women's Club and the Second Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband Dr. William M. Anderson; one daughter, Mrs. Katharine a. Smith of Reston, VA; two sons, William M. Anderson, Jr. of Englewood, CO and Alvin P. Anderson of Williamsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Francs P. Wilson of Richmond, Mrs. Elizabeth P. Newton of Berkley, CA and Mrs. Edwina P. Ames of Rochester, NY; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at the Second Presbyterian Church by Rev. O. Benjamin Sparks. Burial 1 p.m. in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg.

In her memory , contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Training Center in Zuni, VA or Sunnyside Presbyterian Home in Massanetta [Spring], Virginia.
