Rev. Dr. David Wesley Thomas was the son of Samuel and Julia A. (Conger) Thomas. He was the husband of Mary Annable (Law) Thomas. They were married Potsdam, New York December 27, 1860. Mary died December 2, 1916. He was a minister in the Black River Conference and India Mission Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He served Nicholville, St. Lawrence Co., Potsdam Dist., NY 1858 - Fort Covington, Franklin Co., Potsdam Dist., NY 1859 - Parishville, St. Lawrence Co., Potsdam Dist., NY 1860-1861 - Missionary to India 1862-1887. He died Richmond.
