Ness City. Born June 3, 1905,
at Russell, he married Mattie
Staley, Dec. 26, 1926, at Bazine.
He was a farmer and
lived here 60 years!
He was a member of the
United Methodist Church.
Survivors are the widow;
son: Melford, Ness-City;
daughters: Mrs. Charles Lee,
Wichita; Mrs. Wallie Thornburg,
Utica; brother: Victor,.
Bazine; sisters: Mrs. Dorothy
Horsch, San Diego; Mrs.
Rachel Lindenmeyer; Salina;
seven grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m.
Thursday at the church; Rev.
Joe Coachman. Burial will be
in Bazine Cemetery. Friends
may call Tuesday afternoon
and Wednesday at Fitzgerald
