Her death came while surrounded by loved ones after a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born June 12, 1930 in Spanish Fork, the daughter of Walter and Beulah Gardner Larsen.
She married Dean Lewis Brockbank June 26, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She graduated from Spanish Fork High School, and then attended Brigham Young University. She was a loving wife and mother.
She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and was a member of the Price 2nd Ward. She served in Primary as Guide Patrol Leader, and was honored as a Golden Gleaner. She worked in the Relief Society for many years. She served as president of the College of Easter Utah Ward Relief Society.
She and her husband served as stake missionaries. Through their efforts they brought several people into the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She loved to work with her husband in the temple. They spent many days working at the St. George Temple.
She loved the outdoors, working with roses, and making trips to Lake Powell with her family. She loved people and had a wonderful sense of humor.
She and her family moved to Price in 1969.
Survivors include her husband, Dean L. Brockbank of Price; six children, James L. Brockbank and Dr. Kevin D. (Margaret) Brockbank, both of Price; Mary Ellen (Boyd) Mileson, Huntington; Brian L. (Donnamay) Brockbank, Vancouver, WA; Dr. Neil R. Brockbank, Knoxville, Iowa; Joan B. (Mavin) Jones, Rapid City, S.D.; sister, Margaret (Mac) Adams, Heber City; one brother, Bruce G. (Donna) Larsen, Denver, CO; 26 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
