On May 1, 1984, he was married to Miss Margaret Alice Dolan, and it was in 1944 that they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, with scores of friends thronging to their home to congratulate them.
In addition to his widow, he leaves two sons, H. Paul and J. Arthur; four grandchildren, Patricia and Paul Albert, children of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Coles and Margaret and Mary Ann, children of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Coles; one brother, J. Coles of Evansville, Ind.; and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Porter of Lawrenceville.
