Mrs. J. E. Bradberry died Sat. morning after illness of five months; survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Arthur Burch of Athens and Mrs WL Means of Unadilla, one son RE Bradberry, Athens, a brother, TD Jennings of Bogart, and a host of other relatives; the following grandsons will act as pallbearers: WM Means, William James, WH Owens, WL Bradberry, Robert T Bradberry, and Roy Johnson. Funeral of Mrs Sarah Jane Bradberry was held at the home Sunday afternoon. Rev EH Jennings spoke of the deceased as an old fashioned Christian mother and took occasion of Mother's Day to pay her memory a sincere tribute. Young and old from Athens and neighboring towns and counties were there to pay the last tribute of affection. She had lived far past the allotted years of life and in her long and useful life she had gathered to herself hundreds of friends who loved her with true affection and mourned her with sincerest grief.
