Elizabeth Ann Artier was born in Jackson county, Ind., in April, 1849, and was twice married, her former marriage taking place in 1863 to Endavid Finley, three children being born to them: Mrs. Nancy McKeon, who lives at Mondamin, Iowa, and Dunham Finley, of Weed, Mont., the third child preceding the mother in death.

In 1868 she was married to Geo. W. Barger, and nine children were born from this marriage.
