Born in Wolfsville, she was the daughter of the late Uriah and Mary Hessong Palmer. She had resided in Hagerstown most of her life.
She was a life-long member of the Church of the Brethren, and the Philathea Sunday School Class.
Surviving are: daughters, Mrs. Esther P Cramer, Hagerstown; Mrs. Mary K Dinterman, Waynesboro, Pa; son, Joseph K Bowman, Hagerstown; sisters, Mrs. Bessie Viola Baer, Wolfsville; and Mrs. Nannie Muck, Waynesboro, Pa; brother, Russell Palmer, Hagerstown; 2 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services Sunday at 3 pm at Norment Funeral Home with the Rev Dr DeWitt Miller officiating. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
