She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Hokes Bluff and retired from Gadsden City School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Guy Humphrey. Survivors daughters, Gynice Porch, Gadsden, and Janice Newlin, Macon, GA; sons, Darrell Humphrey, Hokes Bluff and Steve Humphrey, Seattle, WA; daughter in law, Marjorie Humphrey; son-in-law, Linton Newlin; brothers, Lamar and Chester Berry, Gadsden; sisters, Jean Glenn, Hokes Bluff and Elaine Grimes, Huntsville; sister-in-law, Eva Berry, Frances Berry, Jackie Shaw, Irene Wood and Wanda Denman; brothers-in-law, Melvin Glenn and Billy Grimes and six grandchildren.
