Godwin, Davie Syble - Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Mish funeral Home - Oildale for Davie Syble Godwin, 63, of 2805 1/2 Lake Street, who died Oct. 4 near Boron. The Rev. Dee Shaffer of the Eastside Christian Church will officiate and interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Godwin was a native of Myrtle, MO and had lived in this community 20 years. Survivors include the widower, Clyde; daughter, Muriel Caton of Bakersfield; brothers Ernest Frey of Arkansas, Russell and Almes Frey of Oklahoma City, Othel Frey of Long Beach, Luther Frey of Missouri, Leo Frey of Texas and Jay Frey; sisters Lillie Roe of Michigan and Maxine Ash of Long Beach and 3 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles Frey, Bob Duffel, Rex Duffel, Sonny Duffel, Bill Hammond and David Frey.
