Gulfport, MS ~ Robert H. Watson, Sr., age 83, of Gulfport passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013, in Gulfport.
Mr. Watson was born in Lenoir, North Carolina and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1958. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force with over twenty years of service. He was also retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding. He enjoyed hunting, working in his yard and growing beautiful flowers, and taking care of his many cats.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Angeline T. Watson; and his parents, Robert A. Watson and Cora Littlejohn; and his son, Russel Bobinger.
Survivors include his wife, Jarmila Watson; children, Vicki F. Bingham, Robert H. Watson, Jr., David Bobinger, Larry Bobinger and Kenneth Bobinger; Jarmila's daughters, Daniela Jarosova and Olga Jarosova; sister, Claudine Sullivan; twenty-two grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, on Wednesday, May 22, at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service. Burial with military honors will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
