Johnathan D. Snow and his siblings were born in Wakefield, New Brunswick
(Canada). The family eventually moved to Mars Hill, ME. He and his brothers
Isaiah age 23, and Jeremiah age 18 enlisted as Privates in the 15th Maine
Infantry in 1861.
All three survived the war. Isaiah is buried at Mars hill and Jeremiah is buried
at Togus National Cemetery.
