Luis Gonzalez,13,of Bridgeport,Texas, was pushed into the city pool by another classmate, May 17th, at an End of Year school party. He was discovered at the bottom of the pool unconcious.Two other classmates went down to get him. He was taken to the Hospital by ambulance to Decatur. He was later Flown to Fort Worth-Cook's Children Hospital in Fort Worth by Careflite. He began to breathe on his own, but was still comatose. Luis later died May 29th. Funeral was held in Socorro Zaragoza,Coahuila,Mexico. He was buried at Panteon Municipal de Zaragoza.
He is survived by his parents, Inocente Gonzalez Fraga & Maria Gonzalez of Bridgeport; a brother, Eduardo Gonzalez; two sisters, Nayely Gonzalez & Evelyn Gonzalez; & granparents, Jesus Gonzalez, Josefa Fraga, Paulino Dominguez & Maria Luis Gonzalez, all of Zaragoza.
