Leigh "Teddy" Adams, 73, died Oct. 23, 2007, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born March 26, 1934, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Charles "Ted" E. Gordon Sr. and Mary Lillian Reubelt. She attended schools in Leavenworth and graduated in 1952. She attended Kansas State University, where she met her husband. She followed her husband while he was in the U.S. Air Force, and after discharge, settled in El Dorado. She was a former co-owner of El Dorado Travel Agency.
She belonged to Trinity Episcopal Church. She was a member of E.C.W., Alpha Xi Delta, P.E.O., the Booklovers Club, the Luncheon Club and several card clubs. She loved to travel, cook and be with her kids and grandkids.
On Aug. 23, 1953, she married Eugene "Gene" Adams in Manhattan. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Steve and wife, Lisa Adams, Lenexa, and David E. and wife, Sandra Adams, El Dorado; a daughter, Judy Adams, El Dorado; a brother, Charles E. Gordon Jr., Merriam; and grandchildren, Sarah Marie and Timothy Paul Adams, Alicia Leigh and husband, Michael, Knipp, and Kelli Rene Adams.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra Leigh and Susan Lynn Adams.
