Evelyn was the wife of Lee Charles FLETCHER (1917-1994). They were married on September 2nd, 1939. Together they had two children: Judith Ann (1940) and James Lee (1945) FLETCHER.

Evelyn Fletcher, longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, and formerly of Wausau, WI, died May 22, 2003, age 83. She was the daughter of the late Ervin P. and Elsbeth Marquardt.

Survivors include her son, James L. Fletcher, and wife, Leigh, Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Judith Overson, and husband Wyman, Fruitland, NM; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one step-grandaughter, three step-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Lee C. Fletcher, sister, Virginia Burt, and brother, Arthur Marquardt.

Memorial services were held on June 23rd, at the Restlawn Memorial Park Chapel, Wausau, WI. The Rev. Donald Baumann of St. Paul's United Church of Christ officiated.
