Mrs. Beverly C. (sic) Painter, of 300 New York Avenue, died yesterday in the Adrian Hospital at the age of 35.
Born January 6, 1935, in North Windham, Conn., she was a daughter of Llewellyn and Etta Green Chappell and was married September 18, 1953, to Lloyd W. Painter.
She was a Den Mother for the Cub Scout Pack of the Grace United Methodist Church, a member of the PTA of the West End Elementary School, the Golden Bowling League and was Team Mother of the Phillies of the Groundhog Little League. She had resided the past 14 years in Punxsutawney.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Beverly Ann, Andrea, and three sons, Duane, Jon and Larry, all at home and a step-sister, Mrs. Betty Mock, of Jacksonville, Fla.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 12 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Schenkemeyer-McMillan Funeral Home where services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. The rev. Edward C. McCollough will officiate and burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery.
