Jeannette C. (Bourdon) Desjarlais - Brothers, 89, of Nashua, NH passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Nashua, NH. She was born in Litchfield, NH on December 3, 1921, the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Gagnon) Bourdon.

Jeanette was a Nashua resident for over 70 years. She was educated in the Nashua school system, graduating from Nashua High School. She was employed for many years as an Inspector for the Hampshire Manufacturing Company. Jeanette enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles, reading and traveling. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary (DAVA), where she served as a chaplain, former State Commander and past Unit Commander of Unit 7.

Jeanette is predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Desjarlais in 1986; her second husband, Robert Brothers in 2000; a daughter, Denise Levesque and her husband Yvon in 2007; two brothers, John and Ed Bourdon and four sisters, Rita Belanger, Dorothy Vanderlosk, Irene Bastian and Shirley Baldwin.

She is survived by five daughters, Linda Levesque and her husband Normand of Nashua, Elaine Fenn and her husband Mark of Braintree, VT, Sandra Tossel and Rick Small of Nashua, Jeanne Gideon and her husband Roy of Nashua, and Mary Barboza and Todd Ray of Hudson; a sister, Florence Dowling of Manchester; eleven grandchildren, Alexander, Wendy, Lynn, Bill, Theresa, Joanne, Jeff, Charles, Jeanette, Krystal and Raymond; several great grandchildren; as well as many step children, nieces, nephews and cousins.
