SYX, Shannon Marie, age 19, formerly of Dayton, OH; passed away suddenly Sunday, December 22, 1996 in Austin, TX, due to an auto accident. Preceded in death by her grandfather Kenneth P. Syx. Survived by her father and stepmother, Kenneth (Rick) and Darlene Syx, of Beavercreek, Ohio,; sister, Stehanie (Syx)DeFelice, of Texas; stepsister, Jennifer Koerper; stepbrothers, Jason and Chris McCoppin, all of Dayton; grandmother, Marilyn Syx, of Beavercreek; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services are being held Tuesday afternoon in Austin, TX.

WRECKS IN BLANCO, BELTON KILL 2; 8 HURT
A 19-year old Spicewood woman died in a one car accident on RM 962 in Blanco County, just west of the Travis County Line.
Shannon Marie Syx, 19 died at 8:30 a.m. at Brackenridge Hospital said Texas Department of Safety Trooper Tom Mobley. Robert Lee McRae of Austin and Ronnie Wallace, 26 of Austin were both injured, Mobley said
Both of the men were in serious condition Sunday night at Brackenridge Hospital said Linda Shanblum, a hospital, spokes-woman.
The accident happened at 1:35 a.m. when Wallace driving a 1983 Chevrolet west on RM 962 lost control of the car and hit a culvert by the side of the road, Mobley said.
Syx, McRae and Wallace who were not wearing seat belts were ejected from the car.
