On Friday, May 17, 2013, in Reading, PA, our Heavenly Father called Christopher "Chris" Daniel Cooper home at the tender age of 25.

Christopher was born on March 25, 1988, in Reading, PA. He was the son of Leatha Helena (Cooper) Butts. He was a graduate of the Reading High School in 2006 and Kutztown University in 2012, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

After graduation he sought to persue a professional career while employed at Sovereign Bank. His passion and discerning interests were in shaping and encouraging the youth of the Olivets Boys and Girls Club of Reading, where he dedicated his time and talents.

Chris was best known for his positive attitude, love of life and brilliant smile. He enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, and his esteemed favorite football team - the Dallas Cowboys!

Christopher's memory will forever be in the hearts of his stepfather and mother, Von and Leatha Helena (Cooper) Butts; four brothers Ryan A. Cooper (wife, Alicia Conicielli) Cooper, Marcus R. Cooper, Dominique S. Butts and Alexander Franklin; and one sister, Irene Davis, all of Reading; five nephews: Wayne, Teondre, Miles, Isaiah and Gabriel; and grandfather, Joseph Cooper Jr.; special friend, Ian Miller, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and adoring friends. Christopher was predeceased by his grandmother, Anna Mae Cooper.
