Charles J. Belt, Sr. born July 1, 1939, son of Charles W. Belt and the late Marie J. Belt. Charles went home after a lenghty illiness on October 29, 2002. He attended DC public schools and later worked for Klein Paper Stock Company and Greater SE Community Hospital for several years. He was better known as Tootie who was a loving individual with a soft voice hard teachings and was understanding about most situations. He was willing to extend his help to those who needed it and would do anything to help everyone. He had a warm and loving heart. He loved oldies but goodies and his favorite group was The Temptations. He was famous for his snacks of peanut chews and sour pickles and pepsi sodas. Mr. Tootie you are missed everyday.
