Illness Takes Mrs. Laura Goins Today At Kent
Mrs. Laura Alice Goins, 79, of this city, died this morning at 9:45 o'clock at the home of her son, Frances Goins, of Kent.
She was a native of Jefferson county and a daughter of the late George and Sarah Brown. She was a member of the first Baptist church of this city and had resided in Madison the past 25 years.
Mrs. Goins is also survived by two others, Harvey and Everett Goins, both of Madison; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Bosaw, of Vevay; Mrs. Vina Webster, of Verona, Ky.; Mrs. Anna Ryan and Mrs. Rebecca Day, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs Emma Wagner, of Bennington; three brothers, Calvin and Frances Brown, of Indianapolis, and John Brown, of Addison, O.; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed. friends may call at the Gans funeral home after noon tomorrow.
