Final services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Winamac Christian church for Zearnie Stotler of Jefferson. The Rev. Harvey Wilfred officiated, and burial was in the Winamac cemetery. The body was taken to the church from Fry & Lange funeral home to lie in state prior to the service. Mr. Stotler, seventy-four years of age, died of an apparent heart attack suddenly Sunday morning at his farm home as he was preparing to go to church. He was born in Wells county on July 13, 1891, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stotler, and was married in Winamac in 1918 to Miss Nellie Kasten. He was a member of the Christian church, and a veteran of World War 1. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Glen Stotler of Indianapolis and Gearld of the Francesville vicinity; three grandchildren; four brothers, Vearnie Stotler of Royal Center, Evert of Monterey, Ralph of Rochester, Otto of Medaryville; four sisters, Mrs. Grave Hengel of Kewanna, Mrs. Opal Hall of Lacrosse, Mrs. Emma Stout of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Elma Hoffman of Royal Center.
