A native of Germany, Mr. Nims came to this country with his parents when he was a small child, and located in this county as a young man. In 1925, he was married to Miss Edna Conn, who survives, with their five children--Emma Lou, Martha Jane, Billy, Marilyn and John. There are also brothers Ernest of this county, Emil of Gilman, Ill., and Bert of Gary; sisters Mrs. Hattie Kruger of Winamac, Mrs. Lloyd Rohrabaugh of West Lafayette, Mrs. Mortimer Lohr of West Lafayette, Mrs. Arthur Fritz of Vincennes, Miss Martha of Portland, Ore., and Miss Emma of Watseka, Ill.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Fry & Lange funeral home, conducted by the Rev. J. J. Meyer. Burial in the Winamac cemetery.
