Mrs. Irvin Schnarrs
HARRISBURG — Mrs. Ella Mae Schnarrs, 52, of 504 Seventh St., Philipsburg, died Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Philipsburg State General Hospital.
Born at Osceola Mills April 22,1922 she was the daughter of David and Margaret (Bowman) Smeal. She was married to Irvin Schnarrs who preceded her in death March 23,1973.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, and the Women's Auxiliary of the Loyal Order
of Moose, Osceola Mills.
She is survived by 12 children: John Schnarrs and Mrs. George (Ella Mae) Cochran, both of Erie; David, James and Mrs. Joseph (Nellie Kaye) Colby, all of Richmond, Va.; Frank, Olympia, Wash.; Charles,
Marilyne, Rick, Patty, Barbara and George all at home.
She is also survived by these brothers and sisters:
David Smeal, and Mrs. William Brown, both of Altoona; James Smeal,
Pleasant Gap; Mrs. Johanna Furrow, Maine; and Dennis, New Jersey.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph and a sister Mrs. James (Margaret) Northhammer, New Jersey.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Sts. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Robert Conlin officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Beezer Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Christian Wake services will be held today at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
