Marion Edgar Regier, Canby, Died Friday, 26 November 1993 at Williamette Falls Hospital, Oregon City. Oregon, at 74 years and 2 months. He was born 26 September 1919 in McPherson county Kansas, son of Ben and Edna Anderson Regier. He married Laura Lee Myers 25 May 1943. They divorced and he married Bernice Lucille Rump, 23 June 1950. He attended McPherson High School and McPherson College, graduating in 1941. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy 05 September 1941, training at Annapolis, and was discharged in December 1945. In 1953 he moved to Portland Oregon, where he worker for Fry Roofing. He later moved to Oregon City where he operated a service station for several years before moving to Canby to operate the Canby Wrecking Yard. He also worked as a cement mason on bridge construction for many freeway bridges in the Portland area. In the 1970s he started his own business of woodworking. In 1986 his wife retired and they started traveling. Survivors include his wife; mother; one son; two daughters; one brother; one sister and four grandchildren.
