Margaret H. Allen, 90, Marquette Heights, passed away at 1:25 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 10, 2011) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
She was born Sept. 19, 1920 in Peoria to William and Mary McDonnell Risius. She married William C. Fitton. She later married Wesley Allen on Dec. 24, 1950, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 1993, in Marquette Heights.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers.
Surviving are one son, Robert (Shirley) Fitton, Heyworth; two grandsons, Terry (Kathy) Fitton, Hudson, and Gary (Candi) Fitton, Bloomington; two great-granddaughters, Joanna (DJ) Cox, Normal, and Rhea Fitton, Hudson; two great-great-granddaughters, Jorja Lynn Cox and Aubrielle Cox, both of Normal; two brothers, John (Helen) Risius, Creve Coeur, and Lorence Risius, Savannah, Ga. and one sister, Hila Button, Creve Coeur.
