Ada Belle Bratton Blackwood, 84, of 544 Tee Vee Road, Elloree, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at her home after a brief illness.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Orangeburg, with the Rev. C. Clark McCrary officiating.
Mrs. Blackwood was born Jan. 5, 1918, in Albany, Ohio, a daughter of Dave and Mary King Bratton. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Blackwood and three children.
Survivors include two nieces, Dena L. Mays of Columbia and Mary Rott of Columbus, Ohio; two grand nieces, Diana Owenbey of Elloree and Candy D. Mays of Neeses; several great nieces and nephews; several great-great nieces and nephews; several great-great-great nieces and nephews; six foster grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Fogle-Hungerpiller Funeral Home of Elloree is in charge of arrangements.
