Lewis L. "Lew" Daulton, 49, of Monticello, died at 10:36 am Friday, May 24, 2013 at IU Health White Memorial Hospital.

He was born on August 23, 1963 in Monticello to the late Charles L. Daulton and June (Wert) Daulton, who survives.

He was a 1981 graduate of Twin Lakes High School and received an Associates of Science and Bachelors of Science degree in Geology from Ball State University. He has always worked as a cook or in some aspect of food service. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and working on his motorcycle.

He is also survived by his companion, Connie Torok of Monticello; four daughters, Amber Ezra of Tampa, FL, Amy (Alan) Bradford of Fort Campbell, KY, Tiffany Shepherd of Fayetteville, AR, and Trish Leyva; two sons, Christopher Daulton of Lebanon, Jesse Dale Daulton of Glendale, AZ; two sisters, Melinda Daulton of Monticello, Kathy (Troy) Weaver of Delphi; ten grandchildren; one niece, Ashley Weaver; and one nephew, Tyler Daulton.

Visitation will be from 11am until time of service at 1 pm, Thursday, May 30 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating.

Private burial will be held at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery in rural Monticello.
