Ernest Eugene Taylor was the oldest child born to Jack Denson and Lydia Laster-Taylor on June 29, 1936, in Highbank (Falls County) Texas. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Marlin Texas, in 1957, and for many years worked as a licensed Barber before pursuing a second career as an employee for Continental Airlines at DFW Airport in Dallas. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan and enjoyed not only meeting and talking with family but also delighted in spending time with old friends. His wife of almost fifty years, Mattie Coretha Hart-Taylor, a native of Jacksonville, Texas, preceded him in death on August 31, 2010. Left to mourn his passing are six remaining brothers and sisters, two children, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. ~
