Alvin Milner, Jr. son of S. Alvin and Victoria Lisiecki Milner was born on August 31, 1923, on the family farm northwest of Belleville, and died on March 13, 1982, at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville, at the age of 58 years, six months and 12 days.
He received his elementary education at the Washington Rural School and graduated from Belleville High School in 1941.
He was united in marriage to Virginia D. Brabec on February 5, 1951, at Belleville, and to this union one son was born.
He lived his entire life in Republic County and was engaged in farming.
He was preceded in death by his father, on February 8, 1963. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, son, Kevin of the home; his mother, Mrs. Victoria Milner of Belleville; one sister, Mrs. Esther Anderson of Belleville; one brother, Walter Milner of West Haven, Conn., one niece, three nephews.
Funeral services were held March 15 at the First United Methodist Church of Belleville, conducted by the Rev. James Graves. Interment was in National (Kasha) Cemetery.
