Dorothy Adena Vails Bowen Garner died Nov. 26 in Leeds. She was 65.
She was born Oct. 17, 1918 in Walla Walla, Wash, to James Warren and Esther E. Ogden Vails. She married Raymond C. Bowen in 1933. He died Jan. 19, 1955. She married Charles Allen Garner in 1947.
She has lived in Walla Walla, Wash.; Butte, Mont.; Murray and Leeds. She was a member of the LDS church and was a licensed practical nurse working in Murray prior to residing in Leeds.
Survivors include her husband of Leeds; five sons: Raymond J. and Melvin R., both of Walla Walla, Wash.: Pete Coleen, Pasco. Wash.: Jerry C, Hurricane; Peter R.. Salt Lake City: three daughters: Mrs. Clarence (Esther) Miller, Walla Walla, Wash.; Janet Finley, Pasco, Wash.; Mrs. Randy (Tanna) Bowler. Leeds; 30 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; one brother, Walt Vails, Walla Walla. Wash; three sisters: Pearl Simpson, Walla Walla. Wash.; Elvie L. Brown and Mrs. Walter (Babe) Couitas. both of Concunelly, Wash.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m. in the Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in the St. George City Cemetery.
