Larry Carter Larry Lorenzo Carter, 53, of Spanish Fork, died Tuesday, March 27, 1990, at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, of cancer. He was born June 28, 1936, Provo, the son of William Francis and Edith Barney Carter. He married JoAnne Moore in Provo. They were later divorced. He married Lydia Gates. They were later divorced. He married Ruth Bethers. She died Nov. 28, 1980. He married Lois Peay. They were later divorced. He attended schools in Spanish Fork and Provo. He served honorably in the Utah National Guard. He worked with Leftwitch Construction for many years, also for Christoferson Air Service in Provo; Fords, Dunn, Cox, and other various construction companies. He obtained his pilots license. He enjoyed fishing, huntin and work on small engines. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Survivors include his mother, Edith of Spanish Fork; one son and five daughters, Mrs. Rick (Carol) Johnson, Provo; Larry Edward Carter; Gloria Espinoza; Mrs. Bob (Jessica) Jones, all of Provo; Kathy Fox, Lydia Carter, both of Arizona; he raised three step sons, David Bethers; Bobby Bethers; Billy Bethers; 21 grand-children, several step grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Doyle Barney, Danny Carter, both of Spanish Fork; Jack Carter, Provo; Joe Carter, Orem; Mrs. Mike (Lila) Tanner, Springville. He was preceded in death by his father, William F. Carter; his sister, Carol; one daughter, Gwendolyn Ann Carter. Graveside service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery. Friends may call at Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main, Spanish Fork, Thursday 7-9 p.m.
