Charles Richard Martin, son of Joseph Bernard and Shirley "Manahan" Martin, was born January 16, 1955 in Enid, Oklahoma, and departed this life March 26, 2013 in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of fifty-eight years.

On June 19, 1973, Rick as he was known to family and friends, was united in marriage with Brenda Elliott and to this union was born five children, later in life, Rick was baptized and became a member of Competition Baptist Church.

He served his country proudly in the United States Army, from January 9,1974 until he was honorably discharged on January 31,1994 having attained the rank of Sergeant. After retiring from the service he moved to Lebanon, Missouri where he worked at Tracker Marine retiring in 2001 due to health problems.

Rick had several hobbies, but the most important thing to him was his family. They were the apple of his eye.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda, one son, Joseph Richard Martin and his wife, Bobbie of Lebanon, four daughters, Toni Hatfield and her husband Joey, Jamie Brownewell and her husband Craig, Hollie Mundt and Stacie Martin, all of Lebanon, his mother Shirley Atkinson of Tunas, Missouri; one sister Tina Martin of Tunas, Missouri; his mother-in-law Joan Huckaby of Lebanon, Missouri; twenty three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Rick was a loving husband, caring father, fun loving grandfather, cherished son and brother. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
