On August 11,1972 in St. Louis, Missouri he was united in marriage to Judith Marie Seevers, together they shared forty four loving years.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Arnsberg of the home; four children, Billy, Debbie, Darrel and Vickie all from out of state; a stepson, Bob Seevers of Camdenton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jessica Barnhart, Josh Seevers and Jenny Seevers; three great-grandchildren, Lilly Seevers, and Holly Francis and a host of other relatives and friends.
Roger was raised in St. Louis, and served his Country proudly in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, he returned to St. Louis where he worked for McDonnell Douglas. He and Judy moved to Lake of the Ozarks in 1972 and ran an appliance business for several years. He then began a new career as a bus driver for the Camdenton R-III school district. He was proud of his service to the district.
Roger made a profession of faith and was a member of Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church.
In his spare time he enjoyed treasure hunting, coin collecting and Civil War History. Roger never met a stranger and enjoyed conversation with those he came into contact with.
Roger was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a caring friend and neighbor. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
