He was born in Bloomington on May 26, 1929, the son of the late Thomas M. Crouch, Sr. and Pearl (Gilliand) Crouch. Thomas served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis. He was a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans.
Thomas is survived by daughters, Rhonda Campbell and husband Donald, and Debbie Jolly and husband Fred all of Bloomington; brother, Robert Crouch and wife Beulah of Bloomington; brother-in-law, John Abrams; grandchildren, Steve Jolly and wife Jenny, Tonya Arthur and husband Kenny, Brandon Campbell and wife Amanda, and Dustin Jolly and wife Carmen and great-grandchildren, India and Karis Jolly, Alan Arthur, Andy and Ashley Campbell, Riley Campbell, Landon, Aaliyah, and Austin Jolly, and Bradi and Andrew Honeycutt.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elmira Jean (Stancombe) Crouch on Aug. 16, 2004; brothers, Donald and Kenneth Crouch; and sisters, Connie Abrams and Leona Edwards.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville with Bro. Donald Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Payne Cemetery with military honors provided by the Monroe County Honor Guard. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
