Daughter of John (of Birmingham, West Midlands) and Sarah Jennings (of Tuam, County Galway, Ireland).

Wife of James Lynch of Ireland. They married in 1896 in Barton-on-Irwell, Greater Manchester.

Educated at All Saints School in Barton-on-Irwell and at Saint Mary's Hospital in Manchester. She subsequently practiced midwifery (having received her certification) in the Worsley Road neighborhood of Winton for many years.

Parishioner of Saint Gilbert's Roman Catholic Church, Winton, within the City of Salford, Greater Manchester. Her Mass of Christian burial was conducted by Rev. Father G. Callaway.

Mother of Nora Lynch (wife of Ernest Pass), Lawrence Lynch, and Eileen Lynch.

Great-grandmother, through her daughter Nora (Lynch) Pass and granddaughter Barbara (Pass) Gibb, of Barry, Maurice, Robin (who together formed the hugely successful band the Bee Gees), Andy, and Lesley Gibb.

The ancestry of her great-grandson Robin Gibb, CBE was the subject of Season 8, Episode 7 (21 September 2011) of "Who Do You Think You Are?"
