Dagmar I. 'Marcy' Anderson, age 75, a 50-year resident of Las Vegas, business owner, and mother of six children, passed away the morning of Saturday, June 4, 2005. Marcy was born April 15, 1930, in Chicago. After moving to Las Vegas in 1954, from Wisconsin, Marcy held the position of madam president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and was an ardent fundraiser for numerous local charities, breaking many fund raising records. She also worked for Clark County Social Services for over 10 years. Friends and family members will miss her grace, style and loving character. Marcy was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Walter Anderson. She is survived by her children, Richard, Randall, Harry, Walter (Wly), Misey and Imogen; two sisters, Myls Combs and Suzzette Hooper; brother, Waldemar Valcq; and five grandchildren, Sean, Randall Jr., Alexis, Krysta and David. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday June 11, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas.
