MRS. VOLK, 77, DIES. FUNERAL TO BE THURSDAY

Mrs. Winnifred Volk, 77, of 301 Center Street, died this morning at a Mankato hospital. She was born October 1, 1882, in LeSueur County and married Roy Volk in Mankato in 1912. He died in 1945. Surviving are one son, Albert of Madison Lake; one daughter, Mrs.Donald (Minnie) Sheehan of Mankato; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Daby of Mankato, Mrs. Arthur Ficks of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Bertha Reisdorph of Spokane, WA; and one brother, Otto Westerman of Tekoa, WA.

Mrs. Volk was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Funeral services will be at the church at 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. F. Allen Sackett officiating. Burial will be at the Glenwood Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the Johnson-Boman funeral home until Thursday noon.
