Son of Mr. And Mrs. William Volk Died Yesterday Morning
Arthur Volk, son of Mr. And Mrs. William Volk of North Mankato, died yesterday morning at 7:15 from the effects of infantile paralysis. He had been sick but ten days. At the time of his death he was living near Lake Washington. Mr. Volk was born in Jamestown October 11, 1882, and resided in Blue Earth all his life.
The surviving relatives are the parents, Mr. & Mrs. William Volk of North Mankato, and the following brothers: Frank Volk of Marysburg, Officer Albert Volk of this city, and Roy Volk of Lake Washington. The funeral, which was a private one owing to the nature of the disease, was held at 2:00 this afternoon from the home of his parents in North Mankato, conducted by Rev. T. Ross Paden, pastor the Presbyterian Church, and the remains were laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery.
