LaNetta J. Dietrichson of Greencastle, PA, passed peacefully from this world into the arms of her precious Savior, Jesus Christ, at 8:45pm on Monday, May 27, 2013. She was 72 years old.

Born on September 26, 1940 in Texas, she was adopted as an infant by Elwin & Edith Cox of Wichita Falls, Texas.

The Cox's moved to New York when LaNetta was a child. She attended A.B. Davis High School, Mt. Vernon, NY, Class of 1958 and worked in New York City after graduation. She married Donald Eric Dietrichson of New Rochelle, NY, on July 14, 1961

The Dietrichson's moved to Texas in the early 70's and lived there for the next 20 years where LaNetta was employed at Gates Motor Company. Don & LaNetta's lives revolved around their family & eventually their church for it was in Iowa Park where they began to attend First Baptist, and where they gave their hearts and lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. Both active in their church, community, their children's sports and other activities they gave of themselves and their love to all who knew them. LaNetta's hobbies included crafting, cooking & entertaining.

In 1988, Don & LaNetta and 2 of their children moved to Mt Airy, MD for Don's construction work. LaNetta worked at both NIH & FDA as an administrative assistant. Again they were active members of their church, Mt. Airy Baptist.
After Don's passing in 1997, LaNetta moved to Frederick, Md with daughter Amy.

She retired from the Federal Government in 2008, and moved to Greencastle, PA in 2010.

LaNetta will always be remembered for her sweet spirit, kind words of encouragement too those she came in contact with, her humble heart and hospitality.

The family received friends on Friday, May 31, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD

Funeral services held on Saturday, June 1, at the Mt. Airy Baptist Church, 1402 N. Main St., Mt. Airy with Dr. Rev Michael Trammel officiating.

Interment followed in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
