Mechanicsburg, March 19 - Harry B. Schroeder, an aged resident of the borough, died suddenly early tonight while sitting on a rocking chair. Death occurred at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. John D. Faller, West Main Street, where he made his home. He was 79 years old. Heart failure was the cause of the death.
For many years Schroeder had been employed by the Cumberland Valley Railroad Company here, and served several terns in the school board. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Besides his daughter, Mrs. Faller, he is survived by three sons, Power Schroeder, R. E. Schroeder, of this place, and George Schroeder, of Reading, and another daughter, Mrs. Glenn Huston, of New York.
